All gifts are appreciated and valued. However, unrestricted, outright gifts provide the Dean of Library Affairs with funds to address current opportunities and respond to unplanned needs. If you would like to make a gift, please visit the SIU Foundation website. After entering the donation amount, please select Morris Library from the list in box one. If you wish to support a specific program, the remaining boxes will ask for additional information. If you would prefer to make your gift using a check, please print the Gift Form and send it to the address on the form. If you have questions about making a gift, contact Kevin Clark at kevincl@foundation.siu.edu or by calling 618-453-6742.
There are also a number of other ways for you to donate to Morris Library.
Planned Gifts
A planned gift helps to ensure the future of Morris Library, its programs and services, and may help to further your financial goals as well. Planned gifts include gifts through your will or living trust, charitable gift annuities, gifts of real property, gifts of life insurance and charitable trusts. Many of these gifts provide you with a charitable income tax deduction, and some even provide income payments to you for your lifetime. For more information contact Kathryn Sime, 618-453-4268 or kathryns@foundation.siu.edu.
Endowments
An endowed fund is a way to give in perpetuity. You can provide support to a particular subject or area of the library. Through an outright gift of $25,000 or a pledge of $5,000 per year for five years, you can create an endowed fund. If you have questions, contact Kevin Clark at kevincl@foundation.siu.edu or by calling 618-453-6742.

Matching Gifts
Double, triple, or even quadruple your gift to Southern Illinois University Foundation through your employer’s matching gift program. Many corporations offer to match the gifts of not only current employees but also spouses, retirees and surviving spouses of retirees. Please contact your Human Resources/Personnel Department for information about the company’s program. Information on matching gifts is also available from the Foundation.
Gifts in Honor
