Morris Library has many different types of a equipment available for use in the building.

Computers - Copiers - DVD Players - Headphones - Laptops - Microfilm and Microfiche Readers - Printers - Scanners - Televisions - Typewriters - VCRs

Computers

• 1st Floor Information Commons,
• Room 139 (when available),
• 3rd Floor near the University Press offices, and
• Quick use computers near the elevators on every floor
• All computers require users to login with their Network IDs or Courtesy Card information.
  

Copiers

• 1st and 3rd Floors
• A DebitDawg or Copy Card is required to use the copiers.

DVD Players

• On many computers on the 1st and 3rd floors

Headphones

• 1st Floor Circulation Services Desk
• May be checked out for in-library use for a four-hour time period.
• An overdue fee of $60/hour ($1.00/minute) will be charged if the headphones are returned late ($300/5-hour maximum fine).

Laptops

• 1st Floor Circulation Services Desk
• Current Undergraduate and Graduate students with a valid SIU photo ID may check out laptops for one semester. There is a very limited supply and it is first come, first served.

• 1st Floor Near the Information Desk
• 3rd Floor near the computer area
• For use in the library

Printers

• 1st, 3rd, and 7th floors
• A DebitDawg or Copy Card is required to use the printers.

Scanners

• 1st Floor near the Information Desk
• Must login to a computer to use

Televisions

• 3rd Floor near the Instructional Materials Center books
• For use in the library with library DVD players and VCRs

Typewriters

• 3rd Floor near the computer area
• For use in the library

VCRs

• 3rd Floor near the Instructional Materials Center books
• For use in the library
