The frames for the Delyte Morris and Kent Keller portraits have been restored and the paintings returned to their rightful place in Morris Library.

The Morris portrait is on view in the Hall of Presidents and Chancellors and the Keller painting is hangs outside the 3rd floor rotunda.

After years of display, the frames had cracked and their gold leaf decorations had destabilized. The preservation work was completed by Reed’s Gold Leaf Studios, located in Madison, Tennessee, and included stripping, repairing, and stabilization of the frame and the addition of a wooden liner.

The restoration was funded by contributions from a number of donors.
